‘Ok, That’s Our Bad,’ AGV Apologizes After New Ad Campaign Linked To Sudden Rise In STDs

AGV has recently released an apology after its ‘Stay Rash-Free With AGV’ campaign has been linked to a sudden rise in Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) amongst everyone who isn’t a Marc Marquez fan.

“Ok, that’s our bad,” said an official statement from AGV. “We see now how our poor choice in wording, combined with using the one MotoGP rider that goes by ‘The Doctor,’ could have been misinterpreted by some as medical advice.”

Since the campaign first aired several weeks ago, reports of STDs have skyrocketed 400% amongst the sexually active – meaning Honda NC750 owners are largely unaffected.

“We want to be clear that wearing a helmet during intercourse does not count as ‘safe sex,’” said one medical professional. “However, if a helmet is all you have at your disposal, modular helmets – particularly in the up position – have been found to be very effective in snuffing out any build-up of sexual tension.”

AGV has vowed to be more careful in future campaigns to prevent something like this from ever happening again.
“We’re already hard at work at our next campaign featuring Pol Espargaro: ‘Protection A Pol Can Trust Before Every Ride.’”
