BMW Teases World With Mysterious New Model Hidden Behind Gigantic Wings
The moto community has been scrambling to figure out what new model BMW is teasing after the company posted a photograph of colossal wings with something possibly peeking out from behind them.
“If you enhance the photograph and zoom in, you can barely make out what looks to be a rear tire peeking out from the pair of aerodynamic behemoths,” said Reddit user SquidlockHolmes on r/motorcycles. “Given the lack of knobbies it’s likely a new street bike or a GS model that has stopped pretending. Hard to know for sure.”
The giant wings blocking everyone’s view of what the new motorcycle might look like were inspired by BMW’s roots as an aircraft manufacturer.
“If you look closely at the photo, just above the aileron on the right, you can see a smidge of the BMW logo that was also inspired by our past,’ said a BMW representative. “Now that I mention it, maybe we should’ve just let the logo give the shoutout instead of shoving it in everyone’s face like we did… oh well.”
Since BMW Motorrad shared the photo, most people think the mysterious vehicle is going to be a motorcycle. However, the wings are SO unbelievably massive that many car enthusiasts feel they could be hiding the new M8 competition sports sedan.
