‘An S1k, Nice!’ Announces Movie-Going Motorcyclist To A Room Full Of People Who Don’t Care
A local motorcyclist has been left baffled after an unexplicable incident late last night while watching Mission Impossible.
“There were maybe 6 or 7 of us in the room, so the odds that someone else would have the urge to blurt out every bike they recognize seemed pretty good,” said Brad Cohen. “Unfortunately, that didn’t happen tonight.”
Not only were none of the others in attendance impressed or interested in Brad’s blurting out, but they seemed annoyed.
“I get that the BMW S1000RR in broad daylight is kind of a soft ball when it comes to motorcycle identification,” Brad said. “But the other week, I pointed out an MT-09 in John Wick. It’s a super dark shot when that bike is first introduced. You’d think that would be impressive, right? Nope! I guess not. It’s like they couldn’t even hear me!”
Given the incident, Brad was diagnosed with having Tirette Syndrom – a condition that causes gearheads to announce every vehicle they recognize on the television involuntarily.
“I don’t know why bad things happen to good people, but I want everyone to know that I’m fighting to get through… oh, OH!! That’s a Honda Montesa Cota Trials bike with an aftermarket seat. BOOM! BRAD OUT OF NOWHERE WITH THE BIKE ID… Sorry, where was I?”
