Honda Launches ‘DwarfSide Of Japan’ Campaign To Compete With Yamaha’s DarkSide Of Japan

After Yamaha’s recent success with its ‘DarkSide of Japan’ campaign, Honda has decided to join in on the action by announcing ‘The DwarfSide of Japan’ – a campaign to celebrate Honda’s heritage of making hilariously small motorcycles.

“Yamaha was about to play its final tune before it realized motorcycles were supposed to be fun and created the DarkSide of Japan campaign,” said the head of marketing at Honda Powersports. “If they can do it, why can’t we?”

It didn’t take long for the Honda team to discover the direction it needed to go.

“One look across the Honda showroom floor and it was clear what we did better than any other manufacturer… repurpose push-mower and weed-trimmer engines to fit inside motorcycles.”

With a combined 30 horsepower across the four-bike lineup, Honda hopes to explode onto the scene and recapture market share.

“Currently we’re kind of stuck with Mini Moto Mondays and YouTubers with fluffy helmet covers, but we hope to one day make it into a John Wick spinoff.”
